Cute Poodle puppy They aren’t just dogs, they are family! We LOVE Toy poodles them and give them the best care they deserve! Our adult dogs are on quality food, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention year round. They are all current on all vaccinations, have their teeth cleaned annually and are groomed regularly on a 6-8 week schedule. They receive regular vet care from our veterinarian. We continually improve the breeds we offer by only breeding healthy parents with great temperaments. When they are 9-12 months old, they undergo OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) exams for preliminaries and/or certifications for their Cardiac and Patellas (knees). We also perform DNA genetic testing on each dog by sending their DNA samples off to Paw Print Genetics, EMBARK Vet Lab or Animal Genetics. By doing this, we can rule out a lot of the breed’s common faults. Many of our bloodlines are proven healthy and have been perfected over the years. If we ever find an issue in one of our parent dogs, we have them spayed/neutered and placed in pet homes so we don’t pass on any problems. “If you aren’t going to improve the breed, why breed at all?” We retire our dogs between the age of 5 and 6 years old and spay/neuter them and place them in loving pet homes where they can enjoy a long, happy life.
